Simulación en asignaturas de redes de computadoras en el nivel universitario

Abstract

This article summarizes the work performed in the context of the research project “Study of the influence of a simulation environment on computer networking teaching at university level”. The purpose was to determine how the use of simulation software influences teaching computer networking concepts and fundaments for a specific context. It was a quantitative study with experimental design and with a control group. Parametric tests enabled to conclude that there is a significant statistic difference on favor of students that used a simulation based strategy.
